London Youth Games Cross Country
The event will take place on Saturday 19 November 2011 at our very own City of London Parliament Hill fields (Hampstead Heath). Depending on your age category will depend on the distance in which you run, please see the table below.

U13 female 2000m (1.24miles)

U15 female 2000m
U15 male 3000m (1.86miles)
U17 female 3000m
U17 male 4500m (2.79miles, just under the mini marathon distance)

All runners must wear spikes during the event, trainers will not be acceptable. Heathside Finsbury Park (Inter borough Challenge)

On the first Sunday of March Heathside athletics club host a 2k ( 11-12 year olds) and a 3k run (13-17 year olds) around Finsbury park. The next event is set to take place on Sunday 4 March 2012. This is another opportunity for you to record your time independently and send in to sports development at the email address below.

All participants MUST check in with the Welcome Desk on the day of the race. Here you will receive your race number so that you can be identified. If you have not pre-registered you will be asked to do so here, kindly leave plenty of time for this process.

The London Marathon is delighted to be able to offer each participant in the 2012 Mini London Marathon a ticket for one of the athletic sessions at the Olympics in August. These tickets have been purchased by the London Marathon through UK Athletics ticket allocation who have made them available in order to support grass roots athletics.

*Please note: There are three parkruns in the borough, Bushy Park Richmond Park and Old Deer Park. Events take place every Saturday at 9am. You may complete any of these runs but be aware that Bushy Park is the flattest surface; therefore you should achieve your fastest time there.
